Creating Unstoppable Moms: A Journey Towards Clarity, Balance, and Happiness

September 28, 20243 min read

Ever wonder what it means to be an "Unstoppable Mom"? Picture this: a mom who juggles career and family with grace, cultivates a positive mindset, and leads a life filled with healthy habits. Sounds a bit like a superhero, right? Well, here's the exciting part – ‘YOU CAN BE THAT UNSTOPPABLE MOM!

My Journey to Becoming Unstoppable

Ten years ago, I moved to Canada with dreams of practicing as a physician. It was a daunting path, but I've never been one to back down from a challenge. Thinking back to five years ago when my husband and I decided for me to become a full time stay at home mom to better care for my three daughters,  I was quite a different person – insecure, unstructured, and lonely. I didn't have a morning routine, and, to top it all off, I was grumpy and constantly comparing myself to my classmates in the Philippines who were also pursuing careers in medicine.

Picture this: waking up already feeling exhausted, dragging myself through the day without a consistent routine. I would look at my daughters with love but also with a sense of inadequacy, wondering if I was doing enough for them. Social media didn't help – scrolling through photos of other moms who seemed to have it all together only added to my self-doubt. I was stuck in a cycle of comparison, believing I had to fit into the mold of a "perfect mom" that society seemed to celebrate.

Fast forward to today, I've found my way towards becoming an unstoppable mom. I've never been happier, calmer, contented and I only compare myself to the person I used to be. I'm staying focused in my own lane, loving every bit of my life without sugarcoating anything.

Tips to help you shift your mindset and prioritize self-care daily

What Is an Unstoppable Mom?

1. An unstoppable mom is someone who is intentional about making things happen. She has the clarity of what she truly wants in life, what makes her happy, and she has defined it for herself. She doesn't blindly follow preconceived notions of the world or the crowd. Instead, she is clear about what success looks like to her. She aligns her daily actions with that vision and clarity, whether in her personal life, marriage, or as a mother.
